Laria Saunders is an award-winning photographer and emerging artist who grew up equally in Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
Laria turns to photography as her tool to express her transformation beyond intense physical suffering. The photos are intended to raise consciousness as well as be healing in their capacity to take one into a portal unknown and yet vastly familiar.
All Laria’s photgraphic work is printed on metal.
Laria graduated from University California Los Angeles in World Arts & Culture (summa cum laude) and is a recipient of the Alumni Arts Scholar Grant (1995-1999) as well as the Emma B. Keller Art Scholarship (1998). Laria began her passion for photography twenty-five years and is a recipient of the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Contest and the Boston University Fine Art Internship.
