Gary Carter

Gary Carter was born in 1966 and lives in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear and has a studio in Newcastle.

Carter is inspired by a need to paint and by pure enjoyment of seeing where the paint brush takes him. 

Willem de Kooning, Degas, Mattisse and  Picasso are all influences.
